Rev. Todd Unzicker
Associational Missionary (DOM)
Brother Todd Unzicker is the Associational Missionary for the Holmes Baptist Association. Todd was born and raised in Northern Virginia then went to attend the University of Georgia. Todd spent 12 years in Athens working for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and then as a sports reporter covering the Georgia Bulldogs for UGASports.com and Rivals.com.
Prior to coming to Holmes County, Todd entered full-time ministry as a missionary to Honduras with World Baptist Missions and Hospital Bautista. He led mission teams, planted churches, and helped start a pastor training seminary. Todd has also served as a volunteer with the International Mission Board in Tokyo, Japan and currently serves as a board member with World Baptist Missions and the West Florida Pregnancy Center.
In October of 2007, Todd married the former Miss Ashley Sullivan of Tolland, CT. The two met while Ashley served as a short term missionary in Honduras with World Medical Missions and Samaritan's Purse. Ashley currently serves as the Director of Children's Ministries at First Baptist Church of Bonifay (FL). Along with sharing the Gospel with children, Ashley loves serving the Lord through women's ministries and music; however, her greatest joy is to serve along side Todd in taking the Gospel "to the ends of the earth".
Todd and Ashley hope to have a family in the near future and want their family's verse to always be Isaiah 6:8, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."
